Joyce’s career spans 13 years at Texas Tech University and 11 years at UCLA managing recreational and event facilities including Pauley Pavilion, home of the Bruins. As Executive Director of Taco Bell Arena and the Director of Campus Recreation for Boise State University, she oversees facility management, capital planning and special events management.

Leslie’s experience includes management of Boise State’s business office, Select-a-Seat ticketing operations, and the Director of Admissions at Les Bois Park. As the Director of Events at Taco Bell Arena, Leslie oversees the staff from the front of the house to the back of the house during events to ensure smooth operations.

Lisa has over 12 years experience in marketing management. She has an undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University and an M.B.A. from Boise State University. Lisa oversees marketing strategy, campaign development and creative design for Taco Bell Arena. She manages all arena and event advertising and sponsorship programs, and assists the Director with arena contracting for event rentals, co-promotions and talent buying.

Phyllis Lyons

Box Office Manager for Taco Bell Arena
|
|
Phyllis has been with the Taco Bell Arena since its opening in 1982. As the Box Office Manager Phyllis works with promoters setting up events and reporting daily on ticket sales, and collaborates with all other departments in Taco Bell Arena to ensure a successful event. She also coordinates with the Select-a-Seat to ensure that the ticket outlets have the information necessary to support ticket sales.

Brad Vaughan

With 19 years of experience in event production, Brad is considered to be one of the best in the business. Brad has produced shows in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues in the West, including serving as the Technical Director of the Boise River Festival since 1994 and as the Western Idaho Fair Entertainment Coordinator. Working closely with the client, Brad coordinates all production efforts with tour management and supervises all local production crew. Under Brad’s guidance, a smooth, professional production process is without a doubt one of the feature services provided at Taco Bell Arena.

Ron Janeczko

Ron began his facility management career at Taco Bell Arena more than 14 years ago, although his experience also includes numerous other venues and various aspects of event production. He has over twelve years of “hands-on” experience in stage rigging, and has completed two rigging seminars. As Taco Bell Arena’s technical specialist, Ron helps clients determine the most advantageous facility configurations and support for each event. Ron’s flexibility and creativity are characteristics that promoters and production managers are sure to appreciate, especially when resolving last minute production surprises.

Nancy has over twenty years of experience in working with the entertainment industry. She began employment with Taco Bell Arena before it opened in 1982 as Assistant to the Executive Director. As an Assistant, Nancy was involved from the contracting through presentation to completion of events. Currently as Booking and Scheduling Coordinator, Nancy works directly with talent Agents and Promoters in securing dates in Taco Bell Arena for their talent tours. She also schedules and coordinates BSU Intercollegiate Athletics games and activities in Taco Bell Arena.

Nissa is the primary contact for media and public relations. She works closely with the marketing team and promoters to develop and implement event related promotions and media campaigns including coordination of third-party partners. Nissa has her B.A. in Journalism and has worked in magazine publishing and most recently, communications for University and K-12 education stakeholders.

With Taco Bell Arena since 1983, Jeff has a great deal of facility management experience working in positions in both the front and back of the house. As the Building Facilities Forman, Jeff manages HVAC, maintenance and custodial operations and coordinates with production for all event related activities.

Anita came to Idaho and the Taco Bell Arena from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked as the Accounting and Sales Manager for Aramark at the Fort Washington Expo Center. Her prior expertise and diverse background working in the event industry complements her Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Anita manages all aspects of financial management for not only the Taco Bell Arena but also Boise State University’s Campus Recreation Department.

McQ directs the group sales program, organizing special event outings for local companies and organizations. McQ manages www.bsupavilion.com, and implements marketing and promotions for all Taco Bell Arena events. He is an intergral member of the creative development team, and is the lead arena photographer. McQ also assists with the fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.

Nicolet develops the design and layout of all local and national print advertising. She is the primary designer for all event marketing materials, as well as managing graphic elements for www.tacobellarena.com. Nicolet is also one of the event photographers for numerous Taco Bell Arena events. Nicolet’s strong creative skills and ability to develop design concepts with minimal direction makes her one of the best designers to publicize any event.
