– K-HITS 2nd Anniversary Birthday Bash –

April 19, 2004

BOISE, Idaho- the Pavilion announces K-HITS 2nd Anniversary Birthday Bash concert on June 10th featuring Three Dog Night.

Three Dog Night is known for their funky, harmonized sound that helped inspire classic songs like “An Old Fashioned Love Song”, “Joy to the World,” “Black and White” and “Mama Told Me (Not To Come)”.

Three Dog Night was one of the hottest bands of the late ’60s and early ’70s, selling more than 50 million albums. Three Dog Night’s success, particularly as a live attraction, was so overwhelming that out of necessity, they almost had to invent modern rock touring to meet the demands of their fans. The group had 21 consecutive Top 40 hits, 18 straight Top 20’s, 11 Top 10’s and 3 number 1’s between 1969 through 1975. Since 1986, Three Dog Night has performed over 1,600 shows including two Superbowl performances.

To date Three Dog Night has sold over 90 million albums. Three Dog Night is now into its fourth decade on the road.

The band’s name derives from Australian folklore that on cold nights, Australian’s in the outback slept with their dogs for warmth. The coldest evenings were known as “three dog nights”.

Tickets are free to the public and are only available through 107.1 K-HITS. Listen daily for ticket distribution locations.
