Casting Crowns “Lifesong Tour”

Taco Bell Arena – announces the “Lifesong Tour” headlining Casting Crowns and featuring newcomer Building 429 and youth evangelist Tony Nolan live at Taco Bell Arena on Monday, October 10 at 7:00pm.
This will be Casting Crowns first headlining tour in support of their sophomore album “Lifesong”, which hits shelves on August 30. The “Lifesong Tour” is presented by Rush Concerts Ltd. & Premier Productions.
Casting Crowns was the most played artist on all Christian radio formats in 2004 and performed to more than one million people throughout the year. Their self-titled debut album earned the group seven Dove Awards at the 2005 Gospel Music Awards including “Song of the Year” for “Who Am I”, “Group of the Year”, and Mark Hall walked away with “Songwriter of the Year” honors. Casting Crowns first three radio singles, “If We Are The Body”, “Who Am I” and “Voice Of Truth” have spent multiple weeks on top of R&R; Christian adult contemporary charts. Their hit “Voice Of Truth” shattered Christian chart records by staying at number one for thirteen straight weeks.
Building 429 debut single “Glory Defined” has set multiple radio records hitting number one on eight different radio charts. Building 429 was honored at the 2005 Gospel Music Awards with the “Best New Artist Award”.
Tony Nolan, a youth evangelist, will be the night’s emcee. Nolan speaks to over eight hundred thousand students through radio, television and concerts.
