Joe Diffie
July 24, 2005
Taco Bell Arena – Country singer/songwriter Joe Diffie to perform at Taco Bell Arena on November 2, 2005 at 7:30pm. “Electric Blue Eyes” is known for writing and performing heart tugging ballads to sidesplitting and twangy workingman’s anthems.
His classic hits include “Home”, “If The Devil Danced In Empty Pockets” and “New Way To Light Up An Old Flame”. After his career advanced, Diffie’s lighthearted side became more noticeable. His up-tempo hits included “John Deere Green”, “Third Rock From The Sun”, “Bigger Than The Beatles” and the workingman’s favorite “Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox If I Die”.
Joe Diffie feels his new album “Tougher Than Nails”, recaptures his roots, but no matter how you describe it, one thing is for certain – repeat buttons on CD players are going to get a lot of action.
With one of the strongest voices and most solid delivery in country music, Joe Diffie remains a traditionalist who has proven to be truly consistent and unique in a sea of cookie cutout “cowboys”.
