The Forgotten Carols

BOISE, Idaho- Taco Bell Arena announces “The Forgotten Carols” Saturday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m. a holiday tradition for thousands of fans. This will mark “The Forgotten Carols” first performance in the Treasure Valley, however this holiday favorite has become one of Utah’s most beloved holiday traditions. This seasonal musical stage production written by and starring Michael McLean has been performing for sold out audiences for over fourteen years. McLean’s musical stage show delivers a message of spirituality and hope that has broad appeal for people of all ages, Christian denominations, and nationalities. Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m.

This holiday stage show features the lesser-known yet traditional “Forgotten Carols”, as well as some new holiday carols. New cast members have also joined this year’s tour. Best-selling Christian singer-songwriter and multiple Pearl Award-winning artist Cherie Call will perform the role of “Sarah.” Jeff McLean, a guest performer in years past, will appear as a soloist in each performance this year, joining the veteran performer Katie Thompson as “Constance.” Constance plays the role of a young nurse who sees the holidays as a meaningless distraction, yet comes to find the spirit of Christmas in a most extraordinary way. Her story unfolds as she learns from a patient, named John of Christmas, stories forgotten over the centuries. It is these stories, and the forgotten carols through which they are illustrated, that stir Constance finally to find Christmas in her heart.
