Young Dubliners August 15, 2007 Taco Bell Arena’s 25th Anniversary year long concert celebration continues with the hard-rocking Irish group the Young Dubliners; the Young Dubliners will play the Arena on Friday, September 21st at 7:30pm. The Dubliners will be accompanied by master piper Eric Rigler whose pipes were featured on both the “Braveheart” and “Titanic”soundtracks. The Dubs began back in the 80’s playing Irish ballads in pubs. In the early 90’s they added a few Los Angeles musicians to the mix and changed their names from the Dubs to the Young Dubliners. The Young Dubliners have released six critically acclaimed albums through the years and have toured as openers for acts such as Jethro Tull, John Hiatt and Robert Clay. The Dubliners have also toured the US with Jonny Lang, Collective Soul and in 2002 they warmed up the crowd at the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Most recently the Young Dubliners released their seventh album titled “With All Due Respect – The Irish Sessions”.
