Only 16 years old, Azarenka has drawn glowing reviews from the tennis world for several years already, having been targeted as a shining prospect while still quite young. Now 5’10”, she has amassed blistering marks in both singles and doubles this year, with a current singles record of 29-2, and a doubles record of 21-1. Among the top players that were formerly No. 1 ranked juniors are Martina Hingis, Gabriela Sabatini, Andy Roddick and Roger Federer.
Rock-n-Racquets features the world’s most exciting tennis players with a musical component woven throughout the evening’s line-up. The synergy of athleticism and music capitalizes on the growing trend towards providing fans with the ultimate sports/entertainment experience. Rock-n-Racquets has been designed as an annual fundraising tennis exhibition and benefits the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation.
The format for the evening consists of three components*:
Doubles: Andre Agassi teams up with James Blake for the first time to challenge 2005 US Open Champions, Bob and Mike Bryan in a spirited doubles match.
Mixed Doubles (A Rock-n-Racquets exclusive): Agassi will team up with his wife Steffi Graf to compete in a mixed doubles match. Agassi and Graf’s opponents will be announced at a later date but will include participation by Blake and the Bryans.
