Taco Bell Arena – Award-winning country/pop singer Anne Murray will perform with string orchestra accompaniment Friday, October 14, 8:00pm.

Anne Murray’s first hit single “Snowbird” became one of the most played songs in 1970 and earned her the first American gold album awarded to a solo Canadian female artist.

Anne Murray’s success paved the way for future female Canadian performers like k.d. lang, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Alanis Morissette. In her 30-year career to date, Anne has earned four Grammy’s, three American Music Awards, three Country Music Association Awards, three Canadian Country Music Association Awards, 25 Juno Awards and an induction into the Juno Hall of Fame in 1993.

Anne’s unique voice and signature songs have been woven into the soundtracks of our lives—in our homes, at our places of work and even at our weddings. Since her first hit, Anne Murray has sold nearly 50 million albums that include Grammy award winning songs “Love Song”, “You Needed Me”, “Could I Have This Dance” and “A Little Good News”. Other country award-winning hits include “A Little Good News”, “Now and Forever (You and Me)”, and “Nobody Loves Me Like You Do”. Anne Murray has even recorded an award-winning children’s album, “There’s a Hippo in my Tub”.

Available now is a double CD “All of Me” featuring Anne Murray performing a collection of her all-time favorite classics from the early 20th century through to the mid 1940s and some of her best-loved songs recorded over the years.
