Platinum-selling, GRAMMY and multiple Dove Award winning rock band Third Day has announced Taco Bell Arena as a stop on their hugely popular “Wherever You Are” tour. Third Day will also bring their friends the David Crowder Band & Hyper Static Union to the Arena on September 18th. Over the past decade, Third Day has amassed 22 #1 radio singles and sold almost six million albums, with one Platinum record, one Platinum DVD, and five Gold records. The band has garnered 24 career Dove Awards, two GRAMMY Awards (from seven nominations), two consecutive American Music Award, and has developed an historic partnership with Chevrolet. The band is most proud of its humanitarian efforts that include raising nearly $200,000 for the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita and encouraging over 15,000 fans to sponsor children across the globe through the work of World Vision. The David Crowder Band found tremendous success over the last few years. In 2004, they launched their first headlining tour. In 2005 they received two GMA Dove Award nominations: Modern Rock Recorded Song of the Year for “Revolutionary Love”, and Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year for “The Lime CD”. Hyper Static Union was discovered by members of Third Day. Hyper Static Union’s debut, “Lifegiver”, hit the street in May of 2006. Hailing from the Northwest, Hyper Static Union formed in 1998, and its members have spent the past eight years honing their craft and creating a style of music that’s one of a kind.
