In their fifth season in the WAC the Boise State Women’s Basketball team enters a new era with a new Coach, Gordy Presnell. Coach Presnell took over the reigns of the Broncos in June of 2005. Gordy returns to his home state after coaching at NCAA Division II powerhouse Seattle Pacific where he was the head coach for 18 seasons. Coach Presnell guided his teams to a winning percentage of 75% with a impressive home court history of 221-29.

The Lady Broncos have seven returning players that have showed steady improvement in the WAC. Last season the Lady Broncos had an incredible up-set victory over perennial national foe Louisiana Tech. The 2005-06 Lady Broncos have experience, youth and a renewed energy to build on the positives from last season, while implementing an up-tempo and winning system.
