The Winter Commencement will bring the University together for a traditional ceremony in the Taco Bell Arena to celebrate August and December graduates. The ceremony will include the processional and recessional of candidates as well as individual recognition of each person and hooding of the doctoral candidates.

Wide screens are set up so family members can see the graduates “up close and personal” when their names are called and they receive their handshake and diploma cover from the Dean or Associate Dean of the college.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony, in the Jordan Ballroom, and the SUB. Each college will have a specially designated area where graduates can meet family after the ceremony, take photos, and introduce family to favorite professors.

Public doors will open at 8:30am.

Tickets are not required for this event.

The ceremony will last approximately two hours.
