Treasure Valley families will have an opportunity to attend a free presentation with Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, the hosts of the Discovery Channel’s “MythBusters”, the event is scheduled for Sunday, February 25th at 2:00pm.

Since “MythBusters” first premiered on the Discovery Channel in January 2003, millions of households have tuned in each week to watch the cast and crew build amazing contraptions which they frequently destroy in the process of confirming or busting a wide variety of urban myths, folklore and legends. The multi-media event will include a lecture featuring Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, a video of “bloopers” from the show, and an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.

The College of Engineering at Boise State University, along with Micron Technology Foundation, Albertsons/SuperValu Foundation, Washington Group International, Hewlett-Packard, Idaho Power Co. and HDR Engineering, present the “MythBusters” event as part of the college’s yearlong 10th year anniversary celebration and National Engineers Week.

Ticket Price*:
“MythBusters” is free to the public, but, attendees must have a ticket to attend. Tickets will be available at the Taco Bell Arena Box Office, Student Union Information Desk, and at the Boise State West Campus Student Services Offices on February 1st.
