Taco Bell Arena opened its doors in 1982, right in the heart of Boise, ID on the beautiful Boise State University campus. Taco Bell Arena has a capacity of 13,390 seats and serves as a multi-purpose arena housing concerts, sporting and community events; it also plays home to the Boise State Broncos’ men’s & women’s basketball and gymnastics teams. Taco Bell Arena converted to Ticketmaster in April of 2014 leading the charge in Idaho, and is also a proud Live Nation Preferred Venue. CMoore Live, recently acquired by Live Nation, also calls Taco Bell Arena home for their Boise-based offices.
The building is equipped with a new state-of-the-art video and sound package complete with: hollow center hung video board allowing rig-through, new ribbon boards, ADA compliant closed-caption boards and a concert-grade L’Acoustic sound system. Taco Bell Arena is also anchored by a world-class grid, with 72′ of clearance from floor to low-steel. [ additional production info re: rigging from Ron ].
For the Fan: Taco Bell Arena has invested a great deal of time and money to upgrade a number of fan-focused areas. Expanded and/or upgraded restrooms can be found on every level, concourses are being upgraded with artwork and interactive displays and each concession stand has been renovated to enhance cosmetic appeal as well as speed of service. In addition, the facility has taken an ADA-focused approach to service, having installed 10 accessible seating platforms in the bowl, overhauled ingress processes at each entrance, every restroom is equipped with accessible fixtures, and an ADA team of staff can be found at each event specifically focusing on guest experience.
For the Promoter: The facility allows for multiple staging configurations including: center stage 360, variety of half house to 270 degree options, and can also scale down to an intimate theater setting. With features such as a deluxe green room, VIP blue room, two road offices, and five performer dressing rooms, Taco Bell Arena’s facilities set it apart as one of the nation’s prestigious arenas.
