2016 SPRING COMMENCEMENT

Beginning 10:00 a.m.

The following events will bring increased traffic congestion across campus throughout Saturday, May 7, 2016:

10:00 a.m. – Boise State University Spring Commencement

7:00 p.m. – College of Western Idaho Commencement

7:00 p.m. – Morrison Center Event – All That’s Jazz, Boise Music Week

It is recommended that those attending the Boise State University Commencement Ceremony arrive on campus prior to 9 a.m. to allow for plenty of time to park and walk to Taco Bell Arena; doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Street Closures:

• 9:00 a.m. – Race for the Cure – For the safety of participants, Parkcenter Boulevard from Beacon Street to Mallard Drive will be closed to ALL traffic from 6:00 a.m. to noon.
• Broadway Bridge Construction Project – Broadway Avenue from University Drive to Park Boulevard remains closed for construction.

Commencement Parking:

Parking for the commencement ceremony is free and open to the public. Available parking includes all Commuter and Reserve parking lots, pay lots, and parking garages on campus.

The West Stadium Lot, located between the Taco Bell Arena and Albertsons Stadium, will be reserved for accessible and graduate parking.

Accessible-equipped shuttles will also be provided to transport commencement attendees between Lincoln Avenue Garage and Taco Bell Arena from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, May 7.
