(Guest Tickets Are Not Required – Open Seating will be on a first-come first-seated basis.)

Commencement will bring the University together for a traditional ceremony in the Taco Bell Arena to celebrate graduates. The ceremony will include the processional and recessional of candidates.

Wide screens are set up in the arena so family members can see the graduates “up close and personal” when their names are called and they receive their handshake and diploma cover from the Dean or Associate Dean of the college.

GRADUATES

Check in and Name Cards:

• Graduate check in time is starting at 5:30 lasting until 6:30 pm.
• Graduates will enter through lobby 3 and family and friends will enter through lobbies 1 and 2; lobbies 1 and 2 will open to the public at 6:00 pm..
• There will be signs that will direct graduates to a designated area to pick up their name cards; graduates MUST have a name card in order to participate in the ceremony.

Instructions and Line-up:

• Ceremony instructions and graduate line up will start promptly at 6:30 pm. so that the ceremony can start on time at 7:00 pm.

PARKING

All reserved and metered parking lots will be free for commencement patrons. Like most events held in the Taco Bell Arena, parking lots other than the Stadium may need to be used.

Because of the limitation of handicapped parking, family and friends who cannot walk a distance can be dropped off at the front of arena. Entrance 1 or 2 of the Taco Bell Arena have elevators available if family or friends cannot climb stairs.
